Welcome to the Clydesdale Horse Association of Canada. Our Association was incorporated in 1886, under the Ontario Agricultural and Arts Act, and incorporated under the Live Stock Pedigree Act, in 1901, for the encouragement, development and regulation of Clydesdale horses in Canada.
The Clydesdale Horse Association of Canada maintains a supervision of breeders of Clydesdale horses, and establishes standards of breeding, and a system of registrations through the Canadian Livestock Records Corporation (CLRC).The Association annually publishes and distributes to members an impressive and comprehensive full colour directory of members, industry news, show results and articles – The Canadian Clydesdale Contact.

2024 Junior Champion, Grand Champion Mare & Supreme Clydesdale Champion at this years 2024 Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, ONT. This is one of the largest in hand draft horse shows in North America and thank you to Clydesdale Royal Spectacular for bring us an exciting new competition, which welcomed back one of the biggest weanling show numbers, we have seen at the Royal for many years. A big shout out to the David McCullough Foundation & Victoria McCullough for bring this special foal & yearling compition to the Royal Winter Fair. Full results will be posted shortly.
